Our client, an international company active in the food sector, is currently looking to recruit a Business Analyst/Cost Accounting Manager to reinforce its offices located in the East Flanders region.
Reporting to the Managing Director and the Chief Financial Officer, the responsibilities of this role will include:
- Responsible for costing & profitability:
- Set up and maintain concept of Costing System;
- Prepare costing (in accordance with procedures);
- Set up of profitability reports and coordinate costing & profitability exercises;
- Optimise product management (SKU rationalisation);
- Responsible for budget matters:
- Set up of budget procedure and coordinate yearly budget;
- Prepare monthly actual reports (vs. budget);
- Develop Vision 2018 reporting to monitor progress;
- Update forecast reporting to have overview on total sales;
- Responsible for price policy:
- Provide support in financial analysis of Broker contracts;
- Support daughter companies regarding year-end discussion/net net/promo support;
- Follow up of price structure improvement;
- Participate in ad-hoc projects;
- Supervision of 1 person.
The successful candidate has a Master degree in Finance or equivalent by experience, combined with a minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience. An experience in the set up of budgets in a production environment with cost accounting is required. Fluency in English is mandatory and a good knowledge of Dutch and French is necessary. Knowledge of German is an asset. A good general IT background is required and an exposure to an ERP environment is a clear plus.
