Our client, is currently looking to recruit an AP / AR Supervisor.
Reporting to the Accounting and Tax Manager, your main responsibilities and tasks will include:
Main responsibilities include:
- Customer invoicing:
- Control of all activities concerning the customer invoicing process;
- Launch of the whole customer invoicing;
- Set up of all necessary control and procedures in order to secure the customer invoicing;
- Accounts Payable:
- Organisation and execution of all suppliers payments in respect of the payment planning;
- Follow up of all suppliers accounts;
- Organisation of the booking of all overheads;
- Controlling of the aged balance of suppliers;
- Bank statements:
- Ensuring all bank accounts are booked correctly and on time;
- Ensuring of qualitative reconciliations (customer, suppliers, general accounts);
- Organisation of a timely Direct Debit process;
- Planning and organisation:
- Translation of the department's Business Plan into show short term objectives (1 to 6 months) in order to realise the department business plan in a cost effective, process efficient, customer focused and high qualitative way;
- Responsible for setting of targets, give input to resource planning, coordination of the work planning, ensuring of continuity (back up, vacation planning,...), delegation of tasks;

The successful candidate has a Bachelor or Master degree in accounting or equivalent by relevant experience is required. A relevant first experience in an accounting (AP / AR) position is essential.
A fluent knowledge of Dutch and French is mandatory; knowledge of English is an asset.
Good general knowledge, especially excellent knowledge of MS Excel, is required.
