Finance and Administration Manager
Our client, Besix, is a leading multinational active in the construction and engineering sector. In order to support further development of one of its divisions located in Antwerp (Besix park), active in parking management, our client is creating a new role and is looking for a "Finance & Administration Manager" (m/f).
Reporting to the Managing Director and Head of Mergers & Acquisitions, the responsibilities
of this role include:
- Supervision of accounting: responsible for the control and follow up of accounting (in Belgian GAAP) including accounts receivable, accounts payable, statutory accounts and revenue recognition;
- Balance sheet analyses of all entities of the company;
- Monthly closing and monthly and quarterly reporting to the Group;
- Supervision on all tax matters;
- Set up and preparation of the budget, forecasting process and variance analyses;
- Coordination of internal and external audit;
- Act as member of the management team;
- Ad hoc analyses and set up of business plans to support the growth of the company;
- Liaison with payroll institution;
- Supervision of 8 people.
The successful candidate has a Bachelor or Master degree in Finance or Economics, combined with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Finance. Excellent accounting skills as well as exposure to business plans and financial models are required. A good knowledge of Dutch, French and English is required. A good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) is mandatory.
The ideal candidate displays sound communication and interpersonal skills as well as a business partnering attitude. He/she is a dynamic team player who demonstrates a self starter attitude and excellent people management skills. In addition, the successful candidate is accurate and eager to learn.
