Corporate Controller – Spanish speaking
Our client is a leading industrial Group. For their Headquarters based in Brussels, they are currently looking for a Corporate Controller - Spanish speaking (m/f) who will be responsible for the financial control of several entities located in different countries.
Reporting to the Corporate Finance Director, your main responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing of budgets, monthly management reporting and quarterly revised forecasts;
o Ensuring accuracy of reported figures;
o Ensuring compliance with divisional and group requirements in terms of strategic orientations, respect of Group accounting and valuation rules (IFRS);
o Analysing and commenting on variances versus budget, prior year, latest forecast;
o Performing follow-up of ratios such as working capital, ROCE, CAPEX
- Reviewing of annual legal consolidation package;
- Visiting local entities to enable in depth review of critical cycles or issues;
- Providing assistance to local entities for improving local systems, organisation and reporting tools; in SAP environment;
- Maintaining and further developing of reporting tools in co-operation with other departments and with Divisional Management;
- Participating in the Internal Controls review.
The successful candidate has a Master in Finance, Economics or equivalent, combined with 3 to 4 years experience in external audit and/or financial analysis. A very good knowledge of English and Spanish is a must. An advanced knowledge of MS Excel is required; knowledge of Cognos Controller and SAP is a strong asset.
The ideal candidate displays very good interpersonal and communication skills and has a good sense of priority and is able to work under pressure. He/she is diplomatic, flexible and open minded and is able to function as a team member. Furthermore, he/she is autonomous and displays strong analytical skills.
