Head of Invesment Products
Our client is a private bank. For their office based in Antwerp the company is currently looking for a "Head of Investment Products" (m/f).
Reporting to the Head of Marketing Products and Sales Management - Private Banking, the main responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for analysis, recommendations, sales and support of mutual funds, hedge funds, and alternatives for a small part for the trend-based structured products;
- Responsible for the translation of the global offer to a Belux environment and on a selective basis by selecting / creating products for Belux;
- Active participation in a global community for Heads of Investment Products;
- Responsible for achieving sales and penetration goals for these products;
- Responsible for the Belgian Investment Office, covering all investment communications, all product and sales related projects and the Portfolio Quality Assurance function;
- Management and positioning;
- Work closely with the Treasury and Head of Structured Products and the Luxembourg company;
- In charge of ensuring that the Product Team is working very closely with the private bankers and investment advisors and contributes to a clear and active positioning of the team in the organization;
- Responsible for client meetings;
- Supervision of 2 people.
The successful candidate has a Master degree in Economics or Investment, combined with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and knowledge of investment products particularly mutual funds and hedge funds. Experience in Project Management and People Management is required. An excellent knowledge of Dutch and a good knowledge of French and English are essential. A good Understanding of IT systems and concepts is mandatory as well as a good knowledge of MS Office.
