Senior Estimator – Civil Works – Brussels
This exciting opportunity is with one of the leading Construction Companies in Belgium and will be based in Brussels. Due to the high volume of projects an experienced Senior Estimator is required to join their head office function, focussing on Civil Works. The successful candidate must be fluent in French, Dutch and English; candidates without these language capabilities will not be considered. This role will report to the Director of Estimating.
Requirements:
• Third Level qualification in civil engineering or related technical qualification
• Significant post qualification experience in a construction/contracting organisation
• Fluency in Dutch, French and English
• In-depth knowledge in estimating large and complex civil projects particularly marine and infrastructure works
Candidate Profile:
• Strong experience of cost analysis & tenders
• Experience in writing method statements
• Ability to negotiate high value contracts
• Ability to manage external suppliers
• Willingness to travel internationally occasionally
