Senior Accountant

An international company active in the Real Estate sector is currently looking to hire a Senior Accountant to join their offices in Brussels.

Thanks to your experience in Finance, you will be the perfect addition to the company and will have a key role in the execution and coordination of accounting tasks within the organization.

Your main responsibilities as the new Senior Accountant will include:

• Prepare periodic financial statements
• Account reconciliation and justification
• Cost accounting follow-up
• Quarterly preparation of balance sheets for all Belgian entities of the group (BEGAAP)
• VAT declarations.
• Tax declarations
• Elaborate the external audit files
• Follow-up of the annual accounts

Your profile:

• You have a degree in accounting
• You have around 5 years’ experience – experience in external audit is a plus
• You are fluent in English, and you have good knowledge in French and Dutch
• You have a solid understanding of accounting and tax principles
