Senior Accountant

A growing SME accountancy practice in an international environment is currently looking to hire an Senior Accountant to join their office in Flemish Brabant.

A newly created and independent position as an Senior Accountant has just become available in Flemish Brabant. Reporting to the Office Responsible, you will have an essential role in AZ accounting to welcome and support new clients.

Your main responsibilities as the new Senior Accountant will include:

• Establish and close the annual accounts
• Prepare the required annual reports and minutes
• Draw up VAT declarations, intra-community declarations, and client lists
• Complete tax returns for individuals and legal entities, and non-resident tax returns
• Prepare interim reports and budgets
• Ensure the preparation of files and agenda items for the management bodies
• Supervise succession planning
• Conduct business development
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments related to the sector

About you:

• You have a degree in accounting
• You have a good knowledge in Dutch, French and English.
• You have a relevant experience in the accountancy sector
• You are good with numbers
• You have the communication skills to work with different parties smoothly
