Accountant

An international growing company active in the Private Equity sector is currently looking to hire an Accountant to join their office in Luxembourg.

A challenging position as an Accountant has just become available in Luxembourg. Reporting to the finance manager you will have an essential role in the accounting.

Your main responsibilities as the new Accountant will include:

• Execute day-to-day accounting of Luxembourg and Belgian entities
• Preparate tax and legal reports (monthly VAT, annual VAT, Net Wealth Tax, Company tax, annual accounts...)
• Handle all accounting activities related to investment transactions
• Handle the daily cash monitoring and management
• Assist with financial audits and other external audits
• Follow-up on the valuation process and perform controls of the fund of fund activity
• Ensure document management and archiving

About you:

• You have a degree in accounting or equivalent
• You are just graduated or have a first experience in accounting or in audit
• You are fluent in French, and you have good knowledge of English
• You have great knowledge of at least of one the following: Lux, Belgian or French GAAP
• You have strong skills in Excel
