Business Controller

A leader company active in the Retail sector is currently looking to hire a Business Controller to join their offices in Brussels.

Thanks to your experience in Finance, you will be the perfect addition to the company and will have an essential role in it.

Your main responsibilities as the new Business Controller will include:

• Responsible for the construction of the P&L, as well as all associated financial cycles
• Supervise the forecasting and tracking of advertising and promotion costs, store expenses and public relations costs.
• Analyze sales data by store, nationality, product line, month and review potential variances from forecast and sales targets
• Participate in the development of capital expenditure requests (CAPEX) for the opening, relocation or renovation projects of company-owned outlets
• Contribute to the development of budgetary, strategic and ad hoc presentations for Top Management
• Manage internal automation and simplification projects
• Identify opportunities to improve the department's financial processes and ensure that data is generated, reported and used in a simple and accurate manner
• Direct contact representing Benelux in projects initiated by the European IT team

Your profile:

• You have a master’s degree in Finance or similar
• You have at least 4 years’ experience in Controlling, Audit or related
• You are fluent in French and English. A good knowledge of Dutch would be considered as an advantage

• You have good skills in Excel
