Business Controller

A fast-growing international company specialized in Food Manufacturing sector is currently looking to hire a Business Controller to join their office in the Flemish-Brabant.

A strategic position as a Business Controller has just become available in the Flemish-Brabant. Reporting to the Head of controlling, you will have an essential role in the controlling team.

Your main responsibilities as the new Business Controller will include:

• Lead the costing process for the production sites
• Update necessary data such as standard cost prices, intercompany prices, conversion cost breakdowns, stocking rates, etc.)
• Calculate the financial impact of operational changes and communicate the results to the various stakeholders
• Communicate the necessary information to the accounting department to ensure that the operational financial figures are always accurate and transparent
• Support the Business Operations Controllers in the preparation of financial information for monthly forecasts, budgets and performance reports, in the analysis of monthly variances and transparency of plant performance, as well as in the comparison of actual figures with budget/forecast figures.

About you:

• You have a master’s degree in Finance or similar
• You have at least 3 years’ relevant experience in project and cost accounting. Previous experience in a production environment is an asset
• You have solid skills in Excel and PowerPoint
• You are fluent in Dutch and in English
• You have in-depth analytical skills
• You are methodical and detailed oriented
• You are highly organized; you can manage tight deadlines with high work standards
