Commercial Controller

Due to continued success and growth, an internationally successful food company in Maldegem has a vacancy for a Commercial Controller due to an internal transfer.

A selection of the responsibilities as a Commercial Controller:

• Acting as a Finance Business Partner for various entities
• Manage and manage various projects
• Closely monitor and improve profitability and efficiency, both on a commercial and OPEX level
• Drive and analyze sales and OPEX budgets in the annual budget and final estimate process
• Improve profitability and increase efficiency
• Identify and analyze deviations from budget and last year at customer and product margin levels

The ideal profile as a Commercial Controller has:

• Master degree with specialization in Economics / Business Administration
• Knowledge of financial accounting, controlling and business related topics
• At least 5 years of experience in a Controlling and/or Audit environment, experience in a Big 4 is a plus
• Experience in an international business / commercial controlling environment is an advantage
• Fluent in English
• Good interpersonal skills, able to build relationships and express themselves in a multicultural environment and with experienced senior management.
• Strong personality; team player who functions well in a collaborative, highly engaged culture
• Pro-active and challenging mentality; self-motivated and self-directed. Willing to walk the extra mile with a first time right mindset
