A Belgian subsidiary of a large group in the automotive sector is currently looking for a Business Controller OPEX to join its office in Zaventem.

Reporting to the Controlling Manager, you will play a key role in the company.

Your main responsibilities as the new Business Controller OPEX will include:

• Analyze monthly results reported within Opex
• Integrate price/volume variance and result factors specific to value chain result lines
• Monitor and analyze business processes to conclude on the financial accuracy of reported results and revenue generation
• Coordinate the long-term forecasting and planning process in Opex and rental income, based on a clear and transparent plan and communication, including expectations, deadlines and supporting documentation.
• Be responsible for the maintenance of the cost center structure within the financial system, aligned with the organizational structure and vision of controlling
• Act as first point of financial contact within Controlling to support new value chain initiatives in terms of finance-related processes and results, including support for the implementation of a human resources management system

About you:

• You have a master’s degree in Finance or economics
• You have at least 5 years’ relevant experience in a similar position
• You are fluent in English and Dutch/French
• You have a, excellent Excel knowledge
• You have a collaborative mindset and you are a great communicator
• You like to work detailed, but also have a pragmatic approach
