One of the world’s leading chemical companies is on the lookout to hire an International Business Controller to join their team in Sint-Martens-Latem. You will focus on the overall controlling activities of the group worldwide and support the continuous growth of the company.

A selection of the responsibilities as an International Business Controller:

• Assist with controlling activities like monthly review & analysis, forecasting and budgeting, etc,..
• Manage the corporate controlling and performance management cycle
• Help set up KPI’s on financial reporting
• Reconcile managerial and legal consolidation bi-annually
• Provide functional analysis and controlling for the budget
• Ad hoc projects & initiatives
• Analyse the budget vs KPI’s and review the results
• Assist in the operational controlling activities
• Provide timely and accurate group financial reporting

The ideal candidate for the role as International Business Controller:

• University degree in finance or business administration (or related)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a controlling role with international scope or in a Big 4 company
• A hands-on mentality and strong analytical skills, a positive entrepreneurial mindset who takes ownership and detects opportunities.
• An excellent attention to detail and capable of working in a structured way
• A strategic thinker with a sense of urgency, a commitment to quality and the ability to independently prioritize the most impactful tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Energetic, stress resilient and relationship builder
• Fluent in English is required and a good knowledge of Dutch, French and/or German is desirable
