A new position as Finance & Administration Director has just arisen within an globally recognized NGO based in Brussels. She/he will lead and coach an international team of 6 people and contribute to the strategic development of the organization.
While reporting to the Managing Director, the Finance & Administration Director is responsible for the proper functioning of the Finance, HR and IT departments. Her/his main responsibilities include:
- Ensure that the strategy for all support services is developed in line with the overall strategy of the organization
- Improving the efficiency by clear key performance indicators as well as a motivating framework for all the services you supervise
- Ensure that all financial reports are produced in accordance with the procedures of institutional donors
- Ensure that the organization has sound financial dashboards and that they are communicated to the stakeholders
The candidate has a solid background of at least 5 years in the management of financial teams. The capacity to have an helicopter view on the management of an organization and experience in the participation and the lead of strategic changes are a must for this position.
She/he has good general IT knowledge and is able to participate in strategic decisions regarding systems. Fluency in French and English are required, Dutch being considered as strong asset.
