One of the big players in the logistics sector and based in Antwerp, is seeking to recruit a Finance Manager who can lead and manage the company’s financial planning and reporting processes. Your main task is to help the organization to be a financial success in line with the business goals.
Key responsibilities as Finance Manager:
- Financial planning & analysis
- Risk Management
- Responsible for the month-end, quarterly and year end closing;
- Supervise a team of 7 people
- Finetuning and follow-up of solid financial reporting processes
- Management of new investment budgets
- Key contact for external audit
- Oversee the weekly & monthly financial reporting, client profitability analysis, KPI & dashboard follow-up, budget proposal reviews
The ideal candidate for the role as Finance Manager:
- Master’s degree in economics or finance
- Experience in a similar organisation/function
- Solid knowledge of internal and external software packages
- Supervise and diagnose the existing systems and have the ability to solve IT and telecommunication problems
- Hands-on approach with a strong drive for improvement
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Outstanding communicator in Dutch and English
- Ability to prioritise and organise your own work and the work of others
- Deadline oriented
