A unique opportunity as Credit Control Analyst has just become available for an international oil and gas company, based in Antwerp. As Credit Control Analyst you analyse and advise credit risks for the customer in order to increase profitability and remain in full control of the credit process.
Reporting to the Credit Control Supervisor some of your responsibilities are:
- Point of contact for all credit related matters and advise on actions to take to improve customers’ risk profile
- Conducting detailed financial and risk analysis and use credit information sources to determine the customers’ level of risk
- Continuously liaising with customer accounts to reduce the companies’ credit risk
- Reviewing and recommend changes to credit policies and procedures as necessary
- Ad hoc projects
You hold a degree in business administration, accounting or finance (a MBA/CFA is an asset) with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. Experience with commercial credit and general knowledge of credit law are a plus. You have experience in determining credit and financial statement analysis with excellent analytical and interpretative skills.
As Credit Control Analyst you have strong communication and organisational skills and are able to take decisions and solve problems. You are a team player, flexible and enthusiastic with a high degree of independence and an international mindset. Fluency in Dutch and English is essential; knowledge of Polish is a plus.
