A large European company in the Transport and Logistics sector, based in Brussels, is on the lookout for a Senior Revenue Controller. You will be supporting the business unit in achieving financial targets and support business decisions through added value financial analysis.
Reporting directly to the Head of FP&A, some of your main responsibilities will include:
- Support business counterparts (a) in achieving financial targets through in-depth analyses, sharing of key financial insights (standard and ad-hoc reportings) and (b) in taking day to day and strategic business financial decisions;
- Analyse and prepare reports of financial performance in a timely manner with recommendations where appropriate. This also include periodic reviews with board members and / or profit & cost centers owners to review financial performance of their respective functions;
- Prepare forecasts, estimates and support the strategic direction for the country in scope and developing these into short (Forecast), medium (Budget) and long-term plans (MTP);
- Improve and simplify existing processes.
A masters degree in Business Administration or Economics is required for this position of Senior Revenue Controller, coupled with 5-8 years of experience in a financial role, including a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a controlling role or in External Audit.
Fluency in English, Dutch and French is a must, as well as strong systems experience, and knowledge IT infrastructure / systems processes as well as knowledge in Microsoft Office and BI tools.
