Finance Business Partner

About the Finance Business Partner role:

This role covers the core business units in Europe, you will be responsible for the day-to day- financial activities and assist with the set up and maintain manufacturing and warehouse support in new and existing locations.

Main responsibilities:

• Control period-end close, create and post JV’s and ensure accurate data and financial reporting;
• Support the European Finance Leader in follow up on financial data analysis and dashboards;
• Provide periodic analysis of rebates, offer insights, and finalize year end settlements;
• Ownership of transfer pricing, manufacturing costing and local profitability analysis;
• Control and support Inventory analysis, stock-taking and cycle counting;
• Work with both internal and external auditors to ensure statutory compliance;
• Liaise with the local management teams;
• Support a continuous budget process and periodic analysis of gaps;
• Identify processes for improvements in the organization;
• Promote the use of SAP and other company support systems for both finance and other departments;
• Be the right hand of the European Finance leader in ad-hoc requests/reports in EMEA;
• Manage Ad-hoc projects as directed by the European Finance leader;
• Support Global Finance Leaders with business unit requests;
• Provide strategic financial support and partnership to Global Business unit Leader;
• Build business cases and long-term financial plans for business units.

The ideal candidate for the role as Finance Business Partner:

• Bachelor or master’s degree in finance/accounting;
• At least 4 years’ experience in finance, analysis or controlling, ideal within a manufacturing company;
• Strong Excel knowledge (pivot tables/ data management) and experience with SAP;
• Outstanding communicator in Dutch and English, knowledge-edge of French and German is an asset;
• No problem with occasionally travelling abroad;
• Great attention to detail, problem solver and works efficiently under pressure;
• Strong analytical skills, accurate and high level of integrity.
