Financial Controller

An international company active in the Industrial Production sector is currently looking to hire a Financial Controller to join their offices in the west of Brussels.

Thanks to your experience in Finance and your strategic way of working, you will be the perfect addition to the company and will have an essential role in implementation of internal controls, accomplishment of organizational objectives and development of financial plans supporting the organization's strategy. You will report to the Senior Financial Controller.

Your main responsibilities as the new Financial Controller will include:

• In charge of the Benelux accounting
• Perform income statement analysis
• Develop relevant management accounts for the global and local management team
• Standardize forecast formats to improve current processes
• Prepare and coordinate budgets, forecasts and financial activities on an annual and ad hoc basis, with analysis of KPIs
• Analyze actual results compared to budget, and report on variances
• Cash flow reporting
• Produce accurate and timely reports on income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements
• Conduct reconciliations of statutory consolidated financial statements
• Analyze the financial results, the actual results compared to the forecast and make recommendations for improvements
• Enhance cost control
• Support management in the development and implementation of new procedures and processe

Your profile:

• You have a master’s degree in Finance or similar
• You have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• You are fluent in English and in Dutch
• Experience with SAP S4/Hana is a plus

• You have excellent database skills and you are computer literate

• You have a strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles
• You are hands-on
