General Accounting Manager

As the General Accounting Manager, you will ensure accurate and compliant financial operations while driving continuous improvement. With a strong focus on VAT expertise, you’ll collaborate with global stakeholders, partners, and internal teams to deliver exceptional financial services.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Oversee VAT processes, Swiss Inventory, and Revenue Recognition for accurate reporting.
• Drive automation and standardization to improve efficiency.
• Ensure SOX compliance and adherence to corporate policies.
• Lead and mentor a team of six professionals, fostering growth and engagement.
• Guarantee accuracy in VAT, Inventory, and Revenue processes while meeting legal requirements.

To excel in this role, you bring:

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Proven expertise in VAT management combined with a solid background in general accounting leadership.
• Strong knowledge of SOX controls, governance practices, and compliance standards.
• Experience leading global teams within a matrixed organization.
• Exceptional communication skills paired with analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Excel; SAP experience is highly desirable.
• Fluency in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
