A company active in the Insurance sector is looking for hire a Compliance Officer to join their office in Brussels. Thanks to your experience in the insurance sector, you will play an important role in this insurance company.
Your main responsibilities as Compliance Officer will include:
- Staying informed regarding regulatory developments in the insurance sector. Inform the business on best compliance practice.
- Conduct compliance reviews to ensure that the company respects its compliance responsibilities (in line with the company’s data governance policies)
- Handle requests from the regulators and all communication in general.
- Make sure that the company is compliant regarding the Solvency II regulation. Liaise with risk department when necessary.
- Ad-hoc help on GDPR issues.
Your profile:
- You have at least one previous experience in compliance, in the insurance sector.
- Overall, you have good regulatory knowledge. Ideally, you have knowledge of IDD and Solvency II.
- You speak French and Dutch (at least B1 level). English is not important.
- You have a bachelor’s degree.
Your strengths:
- You have strong communication and analysis skills.
- You have an eye for detail, and you are not scared of being proactive.
- You have a natural interest for regulatory issues.
