A dynamic and leading company active in the Financial Services sector is currently looking for a motivated Compliance Business Partner to join their offices in Brussels. Your experience in the regulated services sector will make you the ideal addition to the company. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be supporting the business lines on compliance matters, facilitating the communication and coordination between the compliance teams and the business lines, and coordinating Business Line pre-sales activities with compliance analysis to support the sales funnel.

Your main objectives as the new Compliance Business Partner will be:

• Supporting the business lines on compliance matter as an SME (subject matter expert)
• Facilitating the communication and coordination between the compliance operational teams and the business lines
• Coordinating Business Line pre-sales activities with compliance analysis to support the sales funnel
• Supporting the deployment of compliance projects related to external customers/agents in coordination with internal roadmap

Your main responsibilities as the new Compliance Business Partner will include:

• Assure compliance advisory services to Business Lines
• Partner effectively with Business Lines to embed our risk and compliance framework and support its deployment in customers organization
• Guide, challenge, and protect the business through your advisory services. Take an immersive approach to identifying work that requires risk and compliance consideration
• Effective client-facing activities in collaboration with the Business Lines
• Support communication and deployment in front of regulatory changes, and emerging risks and opportunities
• Client Satisfaction measured through annual survey
• Conflict management, simultaneous priorities management
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders. Proactive and effective working with internal departments
• Holistic leadership, be an ambassador of Group’s values

Your main functions and activities will be:

• Providing compliance advice and guidance to Business Lines, with support from the Senior Compliance Executives in the company
• Identifying any business risks and escalating them via the risk framework – with support from the Risk Manager
• Developing a working process that makes sure you get the information you need, at the right time, in order to agree compliant solutions
• Working effectively and prioritizing to help the product teams keep to their schedule
• Participation to key meetings to offer regulatory guidance
• Connecting the business lines with the risk and compliance framework and any policy or procedural requirements
• Supporting the business lines to meet regulatory challenges
• Collaborating with other teams such as, for instance, Procurement, Finance, Legal and Information Security. Continuous alignment with Product&PMO area on requirements and compliance product platform global roadmap/delivery
• Supporting projects by coordinating requirements for external customers with the business lines
• Participate to regular internal updates on regulatory requirements as well as governance, risk, and compliance best practice
• High level compliance initiatives reviews with key stakeholders (internal & external) at agreed frequency
• Liaising with the relevant internal teams to obtain & fully understand projects advancements. Active participation to internal workshop to define and design solutions required for the delivery
• Risk identification, analysis, management and escalation
• Team leadership, alignment, and motivation around project goals
• Comply with Group rules and policies (ethic, image…), delegation of powers and processes
• Systematic rollout of business excellence best practices, highest productivity standards and best in class level of service

Main challenges:

• Main challenges are related to multi-teams and transversal project management with structural and impactful initiatives. High demanding customers management require excellent communication skills.

Your profile:

• You have a solid experience in regulatory markets (compliance and payment regulation)
• You have expertise in project and program management
• You have experience in managing stakeholder expectations
• You have strong problem-solving and leadership skills, and are motivated to work in a fast-moving environment
• You are comfortable with working in an agile organisation
• You are fluent in French and English
• You have excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
