Deputy Head of Operations and Administration

A growing company active in Corporate Banking is currently looking to hire a Deputy Head of Operations and Administration to join their offices in Brussels. Thanks to your experience in Corporate Banking, you will be the perfect addition to the company and will have an essential role within the company and help with the daily management and coordination of the team.

Your main responsibilities as the new Deputy Head of Operations and Administration will include:

• Primarily assist the head of department with the management projects
• Supervising, coordinating, supporting daily jobs in Business Support Trade Finance, Remittance Processing and General Affairs
• Internal and external customer support
• Support and back-up for processing unit
• Monitor the communication databases
• Collecting information and/or contact customer to support the Relationship Managers
• Contact for other internal Departments, EMEA and America's offices/branches
• Coaching, training, guiding of team members
• Reporting to Management (LMC) and actively participating to meetings (deputy of HoD)
• Create, review, and approve procedure manuals

Your profile:

• You have relevant experience in Trade Finance, Guarantees and Payments, understanding accounting principles and related processes
• Experience in managing operational risks
• You have a strong understanding of complex products including Payments, Trade Finance and Guarantees
• Experience in TPRM (Third Party Risk Management)/outsourcing is considered an asset
• You have experience in People management
• You are fluent in English, French and Dutch
• You are PC Literate and have good working knowledge of Microsoft suite, ISABEL, SWIFT
