Finance Manager

A dynamic and growing FinTech company is currently looking for a motivated Finance Manager to join their team in their Brussels office. Thanks to your experience in Finance and Accountancy, you will be the perfect addition to the company and will have an essential role within your division and will support the executive management team by offering insights and financial advice that will allow to make best business decision for the company.

Your main responsibilities as the new Finance Manager will include:

• You are responsible for the monthly closing (accruals, balance review) and ensure the standards are met for accounting, tax, NBB requirements.
• You collect and review financial information as well as monitor and manage budgets.
• You report to management and stakeholders, producing financial reports.
• You oversee the Quarterly Balance Sheet Reporting (“Consolidation”) under IFRS.
• You ensure finance regulatory compliance of the entity and the control and approval of the safeguarding of funds as a regulated E Money issuer.
• You control the daily protection of regulated cash.
• You control the adequacy and accuracy of the financial statements.
• You manage and follow proactively any balance sheet risks and manage the annual audit and produce annual financial statement.
• You contribute and support the group reporting (monthly P&L) and financial forecasting.
• You manage the tax matters supported by Group and external advisors.

Your profile:

• You are a qualified Accountant.
• You have at least 7 years of experience in Accounting & Control, and recent experience in VAT return and financial statements preparation.
• You have all-around accountancy and control experience, within a SME background environment for example.
• You have great knowledge of Excel. Knowledge of other programs such as QlikView, Hyperion & SmartView and Oracle is considered an asset.
• You are fluent in French or Dutch, and perfectly fluent in English.
• You have strong relationship management skills.
