Head of Corporate Strategy & Company Secretary

A leading company active in the insurance and reinsurance market is currently looking to hire a Head of Corporate Strategy & Company Secretary to join their offices in Brussels.

Your main responsibilities as the new Head of Corporate Strategy & Company Secretary will include:

• Advise the company on corporate law and governance
• Manage all governance arrangements of the company
• Ownership of relevant governance processes and documents
• Overseeing the legal governance of the EEA network
• Coordinate and execute the tasks of the company secretariat
• Responsible for the content of internal and external communication
• Provide strategic direction to achieve the mission, vision, values and strategic goals
• Lead work programs, workflows and cross-organizational projects
• Ensure the development and implementation of the model's strategic and business objectives by proactively identifying, managing and ensuring synergies within the organization and relevant stakeholders to maximize impact
• Ensure the continued development and effective delivery of strategic ambitions in a rapidly changing external environment
• Ensure annual business planning is aligned with the strategic plan, while supporting effective strategic decision making throughout the year
• Assess and handle issues and risks and develop a range of possible solutions and responses from a strategic perspective

Your profile:

• You have experience in stakeholder management
• You have experience in liaising and influencing international regulations and governments
• You have experience in managing complex projects and initiatives
• You have un relevant experience in strategy development. A corporate secretary role is an advantage
• You are fluent in English, French, and Dutch
