A company active in the Insurance sector is looking to hire an Insurance Accounting Expert to join their offices in Brussels. Thanks to your experience in Insurance, and especially in technical accounting, you will play an important role within the company.
Your main responsibilities as Insurance Accounting Expert will include:
- Analyze and validate developments in the balance sheet, according to BGAAP and IFRS.
- Take part in the accounting closing process.
- Participate on implementing IFRS 17 for all accounting matters. Liaise with actuarial department if necessary.
- Perform ad-hoc reporting .
- Help develop internal procedures and tools (in accordance with data governance).
Your profile:
- You speak French or Dutch (with minimum B1 level in the other language). English is considered an asset.
- You have a minimum of 3-4 years of professional experience. You also have one previous experience related to Insurance accounting.
- You have very good command of Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of BGAAP and IFRS is important; knowledge of Solvency II is considered an asset.
