A leading Insurance company is currently looking to hire a Controlling & Reporting Specialist to join their offices in Brussels.
Thanks to your experience within the Insurance sector, you will be the perfect addition to the company and will have an essential role within your team and help customers find the best life and on life products to suit their needs. You will be responsible for the review of the reported information, as well as preparing the various reports.
Your main responsibilities as the new Controlling & Reporting Specialist will include:
You propose and implement improvements to processes and internal controls
You ensure proper reporting in the Consolidation tool
You produce accounting/management reports explaining the trends of the period
You prepare a monthly and quarterly cost report to the relevant budget owners, as well as prepare the annual Multi-Year Budget and quarterly forecasts
You assist in delivering information to the external auditors
You have a bachelor or master’s degree level education in Finance, Business Administration or Sciences
You have at least 5 years of proven professional experience in a controlling job, experience within the (re)Insurance sector is an asset
You have good professional knowledge of IFRS & Solvency II
You are fluent in English
Analytical, eager to learn and hands-on
