Private Banker

A role as a Private Banker in Ghent offers the opportunity to work in the financial services sector, focusing on delivering tailored financial solutions to high-net-worth clients. Your responsibilities as a Private Banker :

• Identify commercial opportunities: Actively seek out potential clients through your own initiatives and joint marketing efforts. Build lasting relationships with a view to further growth and profitability in the Private Banking segment
• Assess clients’ needs and deliver bespoke financial solutions: Support existing clients in structuring and optimizing their assets, benefiting from the expert assistance of assistants, Estate Planners, Portfolio Managers, product teams, marketing, and credit specialists
• Manage and grow a client portfolio: Develop and manage the current Private Banking client base. Create, maintain, and strengthen trusting relationships by identifying clients’ needs and proposing personalized solutions, working closely with internal experts in discretionary management, advisory management, and credit solutions
• Represent and build a network: Represent the Bank in the economic life of your region and in various associations. Proactively build a strong network and maintain close collaboration with the branch network
• Compliant and data-driven: Ensure that advising is compliant, data-driven, and aligned with market trends

About you :

• You have a strong understanding of financial planning and a genuine interest in financial markets
• You have excellent commercial skills, with the ability to identify opportunities, close deals, and acquire and retain clients. You are confident in proposing tailored financial solutions
• You are client-focused, with strong communication and relationship-building abilities, and you are flexible and adaptable in your interactions
• You are stress-resistant, meticulous, and entrepreneurial, with the ability to collaborate closely with internal experts
• You have proven experience of at least 10 years in Private Banking
• You are fluent in Dutch, have a good knowledge of English, and French is an asset
