Operational Permanent Control Officer

Your responsibilities as an Operational Permanent Control Officer :

• Identify and assess operational risks and controls through the RCSA process
• Ensure that material risks and mitigating measures are properly evaluated and validated by management
• Keep the RCSA continuously updated and monitor the implementation of remediation plans
• Oversee the reporting and follow-up of operational risk incidents, ensuring timely escalation and accurate recording, including suspected or attempted fraud
• Coordinate and perform controls on incident collection processes and cross-check relevant databases
• Lead or coordinate the assessment, quantification, and update of potential incidents
• Provide key insights on major risks to strengthen management awareness and decision-making
• Ensure that procedures are properly identified, updated, stored, and communicated to all relevant stakeholders
• Define, plan, and update the control plan based on risk assessments and regulatory evolutions
• Execute, coordinate, and monitor controls while ensuring that results and action plans are accurately documented and followed up
• Contribute to the assessment of transversal controls when applicable

About you :

• You have proven experience in Operational Risk Management, Internal Control, Internal Audit, or Compliance
• You demonstrate strong organizational and adaptability skills
• You show critical thinking, resilience, and effective communication
• You are rigorous, precise, proactive, and autonomous
• You are a strong team player who values collaboration
• You possess excellent analytical abilities and a solution-driven mindset
• You are fluent in French and Dutch with a good command of English
• You hold a Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience
