An exciting new opportunity as an Office Manager & Assistant to the Director has just become available at one of our clients. This international company is located in Brussels. Are you someone who thrives in a polyvalent role, enjoys being the first point of contact, organizing events, managing social media and websites, and ensuring the smooth running of the office? As an Office Manager & Assistant to the Director, you will perform the following tasks:

  • Be the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders: welcoming visitors, answering incoming calls and emails, managing incoming/outgoing mail, etc.
  • Ensure the day-to-day organization of the office, including office supplies, building maintenance, and cleaning services.
  • Prepare meeting rooms, including setting up furniture, catering, and assisting with IT or audiovisual equipment when necessary.
  • Assist the Director in various tasks, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and meeting preparation.
  • Participate in event organization, such as team-building activities, holiday parties, and company lunches.
  • Manage social media platforms and assist with website updates to maintain a strong online presence.
  • Provide general administrative support, including filing, making copies, and handling other clerical tasks.

The ideal candidate for the position of Office Manager & Assistant to the Director has the following qualities:

  • Language skills: You have an excellent command of English and French. Knowledge of Dutch or other languages is an asset.
  • Tech-savvy: You are proficient in Microsoft Office tools and comfortable with IT, audiovisual equipment, and website maintenance.
  • Strong communicator: You have excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Service-oriented and proactive: You have a positive attitude, enjoy multitasking, and always aim for efficiency.
  • Polyvalent and flexible: You enjoy taking on diverse tasks and thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Team player: You work well with others but can also excel autonomously.
  • Adaptable and problem-solving mindset: You easily adapt to new situations and challenges.
