Assistant & Office Manager
An exciting new opportunity as Assistant & Office Manager has just become available in the centre of Brussels. Our client is an international association active in the chemical sector. The office is easily reachable by public transport. In this role, you will evolve in a human- sized yet international work environment and contribute to a wide range of tasks related to the daily administration of the association.
As an Assistant & Office Manager, you will be responsible for:
• Organizing meetings (committees, conference calls, webinars), managing agendas,
taking minutes, drafting reports and action plans where necessary
• Compiling all information, documents and files required, taking minutes, drafting reports
and action plans where necessary
• Monitoring and managing the membership database, draw reports and dashboards,
processing new applications and recording renewals where necessary
• Supporting the communication team by updating the social media, the newsletter, the
mailing lists, etc.
• Ensuring the day-to-day organisation of the office: office supplies, maintenance of the
building, housekeeping and cleaning services, etc.
• Providing administrative support: prepare, edit and translate documents and
presentations, prepare regular reports, assisting with the organization of business travels,
archive documents, etc.
The ideal profile of the Assistant & Office Manager:
• You have excellent oral and written English skills (C1 equivalent at least)
• You have a first experience in a similar position, preferably in an international and non-
profit context
• You have a good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• You have excellent organisational and communication skills
• You are detail-oriented and are able to work with deadlines and to respect confidentiality
of meeting discussions.
• You enjoy working both autonomously as well as in a team
• You are proactive, positive, enthusiastic and have a “can do” attitude
