Technical Advisor - Process Engineer Metallurgy

An international company active in the mining sector and based in Nivelles is currently looking for a Technical Advisor - Process Engineer Metallurgy who will be steering the global innovation project. In this new position as Technical Advisor - Process Engineer Metallurgy, you will be reporting to the Global Application Director.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Anticipating and identifying market needs to drive innovation and development projects
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of existing process applications
• Initiating innovation projects related to the product lines and their use in the steel industry
• Providing advanced technical support to the regional commercial teams in response to customer requests, and develop new processes in this area
• Developing and expanding the process application to meet existing needs and future market requirements

About you:

• You have a bachelor's degree
• You have 10 – 15 years of experience in the steel industry in engineering, process development
• You have a previous experience in sustainability and CO2 project management
• You are fluent in English and French
