Quality leader-Steel Cutting Geel

Our client, a leading metallurgy group is seeking a Quality leader-Steel Cutting Geel to reinforce its Quality team. Working closely with the QHSE Manager, you will guide key quality activities, monitor performance indicators, and act on critical product decisions to ensure the site’s overall reliability and consistency.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the product quality as well as management system quality and driving improvement actions.
• Supporting product and process enhancements to maintain high performance levels.
• Facilitate cross-functional discussions with key departments to track and optimize product quality performance.
• Handling supplier complaints, audits, and routine quality verifications.
• Accompanying the sales team in client meetings to acknowledge their quality standards to continuously improve the company’s quality approach.
• Drive initiatives to reduce waste and improve process efficiency.
• Act as a central point for quality communication, engaging with teams during meetings and sharing key updates.
• Oversee resolution of client issues, provide technical guidance, and participate in technical site visits.
• Supervise product quality regulations, including protocols, standards, and work instructions.
• Working with the following standards IATF16949, ISO9001, FMEA , MSA, APQP, 8D, SPC.

About you:

• Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
• Proficient in Dutch and English; additional languages appreciated (French/German).
• Skilled with MS Office and familiar with quality-related software environments.
• Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across departments.
