Head of Maintenance

Join a leading player in building materials based in Gent as Head of Maintenance, one of their key people responsible for optimizing mechanical and electrical maintenance operations in their plant in the face of multiple CAPEX investments.

As a Head of Maintenance, your responsibilities will include:

• Working together with the Director in the implementation of the Maintenance master plan and cascading it down to the teams through daily operations ;
• Manage the teams and making sure to work on team structure ;
• Collaborate with engineering, reliability and automation teams in order to work around different capex projects ;
• Create the necessary strategy regarding the mechanical and electrical maintenance scheme ;
• Focus on the planning of preventive and excellence of the curative maintenance
• Develop a stronger safety culture within the company

About You :

• At least 7 years of experience in maintenance roles within industrial environment
• Master’s or at least Bachelor degree in engineering studies
• Strong capability of team management
• Adept at thriving in fast-paced industrial environment
• Fluency in Dutch and English
