Senior Internal Auditor

A few of your main responsibilities as Senior Internal Auditor:

  • Identify risks, problem areas and opportunities
  • Make recommendations and draw up plans of action
  • Manage audit assignments
  • Monitor the implementation of action plans
  • Identify, develop and promote best practices
  • Steer external resources during audits
  • Take part in the development of various internal control and risk related projects
  • Report to the Internal audit team lead based in Aalst.

Required profile for the role as Senior Internal Auditor:

  • You hold a master’s degree in Economics and bring 4-8 years of valuable experience in internal or external audit functions.
  • You are fluent in English, and proficiency in additional languages such as Dutch and French is a significant advantage.
  • You have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and have experience with SAP. Familiarity with data analytics tools like MS Power BI is a plus.
  • You have a critical mindset with great analytical skills, enabling you to identify insights and drive improvements.
  • You are a dedicated team player with excellent communication skills, ready to maintain strong relationships
  • You are willing to travel during the week in order to carry out plant audits.
