Financial Controller

For a multinational company active in the logistics sector, we are currently looking for a Financial Controller to join the company's offices in Boom. You will be part of a dynamic team with enthusiastic colleagues in an international environment. In this role you will report directly to the Controlling Manager & to the Managing Directors of different entities.

You responsibilities as a Financial Controller:

• Review financial outcomes and engage in dialogue with regional leadership
• Streamline procedures linked to ongoing tasks and profit margins
• Act as the liaison for the Group regarding designated entities
• Support management with Financial analyses
• Optimize processes within controlling
• Create strategies to enhance financial performance
• Maintain current SAP framework and predictive models
• Prepare budgetary plans utilizing SAP BPC resources
• Actively oversee the balance sheet to manage risks
• Attend local management meetings as a representative of RSSC
• Compliance with financial protocols and participation in audits
• Assist with overheads expenses and other tasks as required

Required profile for the role as Financial Controller:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, finance or accounting
• Previous experience in finance as a consultant or financial controller with a strong background in finance, business results, planning and analysis
• Audit experience is an advantage
• Good knowledge of Excel is essential, knowledge of SAP is an advantage
• Fluency in English. Any other language is an asset
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
• Ownership mindset, adaptable and deadline-oriented
