Business Controller

This is a key role, reporting directly to the Controlling Manager, and is focused on managing the financial performance of real estate projects abroad.

Your responsibilities as Business Controller :

• Ensuring the financial monitoring and follow-up of real estate projects across various international markets
• Preparing feasibility studies and business cases in close collaboration with local project and finance teams
• Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking, as well as managing cash planning and periodical reporting
• Handling aspects of group controlling and contributing to managerial reporting
• Performing ad hoc financial analyses and liaising with auditors, fiduciaries, and external consultants
• Supporting financial structuring and project financing efforts
• Reviewing subsidiary accounts and ensuring compliance with contracts and processes
• Providing guidance to local finance and administration teams, implementing necessary controls as needed

About you :

• You are fluent in French and have a good command of English
• You hold a Master’s degree in Finance
• You have at least three years of professional experience in controlling
• You possess in-depth knowledge of Belgian GAAP, with experience in IFRS being a valuable asset
• You are proactive, detail-oriented, and thrive in an international environment
