Business Controller

A unique opportunity to step into the role of Business Controller in a dynamic and globally renowned entertainment company in Leuven. Reporting to the Finance Director, this position offers a blend of leadership, analysis, and strategic impact within an international environment.

Your responsibilities as a Business Controller:

• Follow-up of project budgets, analysing variances on costs and revenues
• Conducting P&L analysis and variance reporting, and preparing management accounts for local and EU teams
• Reporting financial data to the parent company and preparing budgets, forecasts, and KPI analysis
• Managing cash flow, ensuring timely P&L and balance sheet preparation, and supporting audit reconciliation
• Analyzing financial performance, recommending improvements, and collaborating with departments to enhance cost control
• Assisting the CFO with process development, overseeing finance team training, and ensuring compliance with company policies
• Preparing ad-hoc reports and analyses as required

Your profile:

• You hold a master’s degree and bring at least five years of experience as a financial analyst, financial controller, or auditor
• You demonstrate a solid grasp of key performance indicators and their applications
• You have prior experience working within an international organization
• You excel in Excel, Power BI, and general IT tools, with ERP systems experience and Oracle knowledge considered an advantage
• You communicate effectively, both interpersonally and professionally
• You thrive under pressure, exhibiting strong determination and resilience
• You understand business strategy and operations, including process optimization
• You are fluent in French, Dutch, and English, both written and spoken
