Junior Business Controller

We are currently seeking a Junior Business Controller for a well-established pharmaceutical group based in Zaventem. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join a dynamic team within a reputable organization.

The Junior Business Controller will be responsible for:

• Preparing and analyzing financial results along with providing commentary.
• Assisting throughout the entire process of Budgeting & Forecasting, from data gathering to the final presentation.
• Identifying and elucidating discrepancies between actual results and budgeted figures.
• Aiding in the creation of long-term financial forecasts.
• Performing in-depth financial analyses tailored to specific requests from management.
• Recognizing and suggesting enhancements for financial controls and reporting procedures.
• Collaborating with local business management and finance teams.

Profile of ideal Junior Business Controller:

• University degree in finance, economics, business administration or a related field
• Fluent in English, French and Dutch
• +/- 3 years of experience in controlling, accounting or audit
• Very IT minded (very good level of Excel)
• Business minded, analytical and structured
• Able to work accurately, organised and with respect of deadlines
• Communicative, team player, dynamic and pro-active
• Curious mindset and willingness to learn
