HR Controller

A multinational company in the FMCG sector is looking for an HR Controller to join its Brussels team. This role focuses on payroll and on the controlling of the HR department.

Your responsibilities as a HR Controller :

• Manage accurate and compliant payroll processing in Belgium and The Netherlands with external providers
• Address payroll inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain secure records
• Ensure compliance with tax, labor laws, and statutory payroll requirements
• Handle expat payroll matters and support audits
• Oversee HR reporting, month-end closing, and variance analysis
• Contribute to financial forecasts with HR and Finance teams
• Optimize HR controlling processes and support global projects

About you :

• You hold a master degree in Human Resources or Finance
• You have at least 3 years of experience in payroll administration or in controlling and are eager to learn the other side of the role
• You are fluent in Dutch and English, with French being a strong asset
• You have a keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills
• You are a real team player, excel in communication and enjoy working with various stakeholders
