Finance Docking Controller

Looking for a challenging financial role in engineering? As a Financial Docking Controller in Antwerp, you will oversee financial and administrative processes for vessel repairs, ensuring efficiency and cost control.

Responsibilities as a Financial Docking Controller:

• Support technically skilled colleagues by managing financial and administrative matters
• Act as the primary contact for all financial incoming and outgoing transactions
• Prepare and continuously update the repair budget by tracking modifications
• Analyze cost savings by comparing vendor proposals
• Assess repair results and generate financial reports
• Oversee administrative tasks throughout the entire repair process

About You:

• Willing to travel worldwide to shipyards (75% of the time), with 25% based in Belgium
• Experience in cost and project controlling; audit knowledge is a plus
• Adaptable to different locations, cultures, and high-pressure situations
• Master’s degree in Applied Economics or a related field
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas
• Able to work independently and proactively suggest process improvements
