Interim Senior Business Controller

Are you ready to take on a new challenge? For a leading production company, located in Oostkamp, we are looking for an Interim Senior Business Controller.

Your Role:

As an Interim Senior Business Controller, you will provide critical financial analysis and insights that drive decision-making. You will oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring while ensuring compliance with internal controls and external regulations. Your ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies will be essential in supporting the company's continued growth.

The Interim Senior Business Controller’s key responsibilities include:

• Lead financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
• Analyse financial performance and provide actionable recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between financial goals and operational strategies.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department.

Your Profile:

• A Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in business controlling or financial analysis, preferably within the construction or related industries.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Proficiency in financial modelling tools and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills are essential.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Fluency in Dutch and English is required.
