Interim Financial Controller

Are you looking for a new challenging assignment as Interim Financial Controller? For a well-known manufacturing company, located in the Ghent area, we are looking for an Interim Financial Controller for an assignment of minimum 6 months.

A few of your key responsibilities as Interim Financial Controller:

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Prepare and analyse financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Utilize Excel (advanced level) and Power Query to manage large datasets, automate processes, and create insightful reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial goals.

Your profile as Interim Financial Controller:

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, complex formulas) and Power Query is a must.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in Dutch; knowledge of English or French is a plus.
