The position is located in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, France, at the headquarter of the group.
As part of a replacement, we are looking for an M&A and corporate development manager M/F for our client, an European leader in healthcare services. This position is pivotal in driving the strategic agenda through market analysis, identifying strategic partnerships, executing acquisition and disposal opportunities, and supporting overall corporate development initiatives.

The M&A and corporate development manager (M/F) will join the M&A and corporate development team of 4 people at the group's headquarters in the 8th arrondissement of Paris.
The main missions will be to:
- continuously stay abreast of the strategic direction of the healthcare services industry
- participate actively in strategic projects by carrying out market studies and analyzing competition and positioning
- assist in developing long-term strategic plans that leverage insights from market data and internal analytics
- follow-up development or divestment projects in coordination with the different countries
- provide end-to-end support for the entire strategic partnership & M&A process, including proposing deal structures and participating in negotiations alongside senior executives, legal teams, and deal advisers
- challenge business models, participate in financial evaluations of projects, including legal documentation
- act as M&A resource person for countries with structuration needs, in support of local development teams or country C-level
- prepare high-quality documentation to help the board understand the strategic rationale, financial assessment and due diligence conclusions of a deal case
- coordinate with deal advisers to ensure effective execution
- involved in the carve-out or integration process
The M&A and corporate development manager (M/F) has at least 5 years of experience, for example in consulting, transaction services, valuation, venture capital and private equity, M&A boutiques, investment banking
A very good English and a fluency in German or Italian or Spanish is needed for presentations and discussions in the event of an acquisition/disposal in Europe.
Fluency in French is not mandatory.
The M&A and corporate development manager (M/F) must be able to analyze complex financial data, identify emerging trends and understand the sector. He will be comfortable with different evaluation methods and modeling. He will have to work with several projects in parallel. Experience in understanding purchasing contracts, non-disclosure agreements and legal documents with the support of business law firms would be a plus. Finally, the M&A and corporate development manager (M/F) must have excellent interpersonal skills to be able to interact with banks and business lawyers, as well as with the group's executive management.
