Your responsibilities as a Team Leader Credit Decision:
- You set priorities for your team and communicate them clearly
- You monitor progress in these areas and ensure engagement on the topics addressed within your team
- You define individual objectives for the members of your department, as well as group bonus targets, in coordination with your Manager
- You regularly conduct interim evaluations to provide continuous feedback to your team members and give them opportunities to improve in their current roles
- You are dedicated to teamwork and aim to inspire, motivate, and support your team members to achieve the set objectives, communicating about this on a regular basis
- You have detailed knowledge of the tasks performed by the team’s Officers and can step in yourself if needed; training and coaching are provided for this purpose
- You organize a monthly team meeting and daily morning meetings to start the workday and address urgent and important topics with the active participation of the team
- You assist your team members in their career development, with a focus on product knowledge, teamwork, creativity, motivation, productivity, and stress management
- You do your utmost to provide solutions to partners, credit intermediaries, and end customers to optimize B2B customer satisfaction
- Your daily collaboration with other team leaders in the department is essential for the effective operation of the team and the development of the business
- You report directly to the B2B Onboarding Professional Manager regarding the evolution and operation of your department, especially the efficiency of case processing and follow-up
- You work closely with other departments, including Sales, Risk, Accounting, Legal, and Compliance, as well as with external partners
- You participate in training sessions, including product-oriented training, and stay informed of the latest developments in your area of expertise to help optimize service delivery
- You actively take part in various working groups and meetings within the company, as well as meetings with external partners
About you:
- You are an excellent people manager with strong leadership skills, well-organized, flexible, dynamic, independent, creative, attentive, and stress-resistant, with coaching being one of your key strengths
- You have at least 3 years of experience in credit decision-making
- You are bilingual (French/Dutch), both spoken and written, and a good command of English is considered an asset
- You are customer- and results-oriented, with initiative and an analytical mindset
- You are expected to demonstrate flexibility in your working hours, as your team operates on a flexible schedule
