Product Expert Life

As a Product Expert Life, you will be reinforcing a highly specialized team in the insurance sector, based in Brussels, reporting directly to the Head of Product Life. This role offers you the opportunity to apply your expertise in files management and product management, helping to drive innovation and operational excellence within the life insurance domain.

Your responsibilities as a Product Expert Life :

• Creating comprehensive and tailored product offers within your assigned product group
• Managing contract subscriptions and drafting amendments as required
• Maintaining and continuously updating in-depth knowledge of your product portfolio
• Sharing product-related insights and training your colleagues to enhance team expertise
• Handling and monitoring claim files related to your group of products with precision
• Collaborating closely with consultants meeting clients to ensure product alignment with customer needs
• Adhering to internal control procedures, confidentiality standards, and regulatory compliance
• Strengthening customer relationships by addressing complex technical queries with clarity and expertise
• Supporting the sales teams (internal and external) by facilitating the provision of complementary insurance advice to existing members
• Monitoring and executing routine operational processes efficiently

About you:

• You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical insurance field
• You have at least 10 years of professional experience in the insurance industry, in files management, underwriting, or claims management
• You have solid knowledge of insurance products, particularly in the 2nd pillar
• You are fluent in Dutch and French (Dutch is your native language)
