Tax Accountant

Are you ready to take on the challenge of managing tax responsibilities in a car manufacturing environment in Zaventem? As a Tax Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely tax reporting, compliance, and accounting.

Your responsibilities as a Tax Accountant:

• Submit VAT returns, Intrastat declarations, and income tax returns with consultant support
• Prepare and submit Transfer Pricing documentation in collaboration with headquarters and consultants
• Evaluate exposure to other taxes
• Ensure customs duty compliance and support tax audits
• Manage IFRS tax accounting, quarterly/annual reporting, and tax rate calculations
• Conduct Balance Sheet Reviews for tax-related accounts and VAT reconciliations
• Approve expense reports, manage fixed asset accounting, and code invoices
• Handle various reporting duties
• Assist with internal control assessments and ad-hoc projects

About you:

• You hold a degree in finance/economics and have at least 7 years of experience in a similar role
• You are results-driven and flexible regarding deadlines
• You can work independently and successfully complete tasks
• You are fluent in Dutch and/or French, and English
• You possess excellent planning, organization, and coordination skills
• You have strong analytical skills
• You are an effective communicator and team player
