Your responsibilities as a Head of Credit Decisions and Credit Risk:

• Define and implement the credit strategy to drive business growth and performance
• Optimize the credit approval process for efficiency and automation while maintaining risk awareness
• Lead change management initiatives and ensure adoption of new working methods
• Develop team skills, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Provide coaching and training to enhance leadership and technical competencies
• Oversee credit-related projects, policies, and procedures to ensure risk control
• Represent credit risk interests with senior stakeholders and regulators
• Collaborate with Sales and brokers to align credit strategies with business objectives
• Chair Credit Decision Committees and contribute to portfolio monitoring

About you:

• You have strong expertise in credit analysis, particularly in mortgage lending
• You have experience in credit decision-making and risk management
• You have led teams and managed senior stakeholders
• You have driven transformation projects and process improvements
• You are fluent in Dutch, French, and English
• Experience in compliance, legal, operations, or a B2B2C environment is a plus
• You have been part of a Management Team, contributing to strategy and P&L
