Senior Accountant Controller

Seeking an experienced Senior Controller to join a dynamic team in Zaventem. This role offers the opportunity to drive financial accuracy, ensure compliance, and support strategic decision-making.

Your responsibilities as a Senior Controller :

• Ensure accurate monthly financial closings
• Support audits and timely preparation of annual accounts
• Review Balance Sheet accounts, accruals, and identify risks/opportunities
• Prepare and submit tax returns, VAT, and support tax inspections
• Validate SSC inputs and recommend process improvements
• Provide financial and non-financial reports, ensuring business performance reviews
• Develop budgets/forecasts, analyze variances, and propose actions
• Enhance performance monitoring with meaningful KPIs
• Lead financial analysis, reporting, and business meetings

Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to support decision-making

Your profile :

• You have 7+ years of experience in Accounting/Controlling with a Finance/Accounting degree
• You are fluent in Dutch, French, and English
• You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• You are results-driven, structured, and detail-oriented
• You thrive in dynamic environments and can work independently or in teams
• You have advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, and reporting tools
